1 Whales and dolphins can survive out of water
Many people think if whales or dolphins get out of water they dies because they can’t breath, they are mammals and they use their lungs to breath and they're are like us, They can survive out of water just for a few days, but when beached for long periods they sadly die due to their heavy weight which damages their muscles and internal organs.
2 Turtles breath out of their butts
Some turtles species, specially aquatic ones, can breath from their butts, and it is called cloacal respiration.The turtles pump water in and out of their pouches, which are called cloacal bursae. There are 2 pouches that allows them to breath and they are called paired cloacal bursae. Because of their slow metabolism they can easily adapt to any water conditions, some species of turtles can even spend an a whole winter underwater!
